Midnight’s children project

A collaborative project based on Salman Rushdie's book of the same name, with Sir Rushdie himself participating as narrator. The music was composed by Ittai Shapira, and artist Alexander Klingspor created a circular oil painting encompassing all the visual elements of the story. All animation was created by Annica Klingspor.

The work has been exhibited at Alexander's solo show at Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde and at Frieze Art Fair in New York, among other venues. It has screened at numerous film festivals and won Best Experimental Film at the Santorini Film Festival in 2021.
